RIJORAB – LS is a medicine which contains Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride
Rabeprazole
Rabeprazole belong to a group of medicines called Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs). Rabeprazole act by reducing the amount of acid made by the stomach.
Levosulpiride
Levosulpiride belongs to the class of antipsychotic medicines. However, it is primarily used for its gut motility properties ie to improve food movement and treats disorders of the stomach and intestines. This medicine works by inhibiting the action of certain specific neurotransmitters in the brain and specific regions of the stomach and the intestine

Mechanism of Action:

Levosulpiride is a prokinetic which works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger). This increases the movement of stomach and intestines, and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe) 

Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and ulcers

Dosage

One capsule per day on an empty stomach or as directed by
Physicians

Composition:

Each hard gelatin capsule contains: Rabeprazole Sodium, IP….. 20 mg(as enteric-coated pellets)
Levosulpiride ……. 75 mg(as sustained-release pellets)

Nausea, Stomach pain, Diarrhea, Flatulence, Constipation, Headache, Dizziness, Weakness, Sleepiness, Flu-like symptoms
